A few years ago, a small group of families decided to gather and hold worship services near Louisa, Virginia. The only place we could find was a neighbor’s barn, which was where we started, with the name “Barn Christian Ministries.”
The bible-based ministry grew and grew. Over time the barn became too small for services and activities. We arranged to hold Sunday services in the nearby Waldrop Baptist Church, which is where we meet today.
Still small, we are a church with the spirit of people who once met in a barn: everyone is welcome, people know each others’ names, and worship is rooted in scripture.
